Insurance Claims Assessors Northern Ireland
What is a Loss Assessor?
A Loss Assessor is a claims negotiator who acts on behalf of the public in the compilation, preparation and negotiation of insurance claims. A loss adjuster acts for and is paid by Insurance Companies.
Why use a Loss Assessor?
A loss assessor should be able to access the best possible terms of settlement from your insurance company.
My Insurance Company has already appointed a Loss Adjuster to deal with my claim…?
The Loss Adjuster is appointed by your insurance company to process the claim on their behalf. They are retained and paid by them and will not compile the claim.
Who pays the Loss Assessor?
The Loss Assessors fees are payable by the policyholder and are not normally recoverable under the terms of the policy. Fees are charged on the basis of a percentage of the settlement amount and are agreed and confirmed in writing at the outset of the claim process.
